Dennis is back! Featured on the 'Golden Oldies' page, Dennis has booked in for his second consultation with the Doctor. Known for his overwhelming flair and charisma, he will certainly inject the band with a booster dose of good old Rock 'n' Roll. On his return to Dr Misfit, Dennis will have the Bass guitar slung over his shoulder (the instrument he once earned his bread and butter with) pumping out classy basslines on all the favourite Dr Feelgood and Pirates' songs that we perform. Over the years, he's been lucky enough to have rubbed shoulders with some of the stars, the most notable being Rory Gallagher - if you get to meet him, I'm sure he will tell you all about it!

Sadly Peter (guitar) has decided to leave the band which has led appointment of the well known and respected musician, Phil Selby. Although Phil has many notable ongoing avenues of musical activity (such is his talent), he is probably best known as the suave guitarist in the renowned Norwich band - The Keno Kings. Anyone who has watched a Keno Kings show will have undoubtedly appreciated their slick delivery of classic blues songs from the past and indeed also some of their own self penned arrangements in the old R&B format. His professionalism and wealth of experience will be very welcome and I am absolutely sure his inclusion in the line up, will render Dr Misfit as an even better band than ever before.

Formed in 2002 - it seems Dr Misfit has been around for a lot lot longer! With regular appearances
in some of the best music venues throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, the band has earned the enviable
reputation for giving audiences and pub goers a "good time" with amusing band interplay and
genuinely funny theatre (see photo gallery) from the hugely talented Pete (aka Dr Misfit). His stage
antics coupled with the style of music we try to perform, are a real proven formula for providing
great fun entertainment and with it perhaps, a welcome departure from the overly sober &
serious bands pub goers normally watch. Testament to this is a quote from one pub
landlord who having had his bar crawled all over, bar staff chased and then almost having his ale
swilled straight from the tap, hailed Dr Misfit "the most entertaining band of all" - we're happy with
that!
For some, the band Dr Feelgood is an unknown name in Rock 'n' Roll, for others they have a cult
status forever ingrained as wonderful memories and times in all who have seen them. Yet for
those unfamiliar with the music, we are continually amazed with how well received it is by all
ages - a clear signal perhaps to the overall rightness of the genre for the pub venue.
Dr Misfit does NOT claim to be a tribute band, we do however try and play the music we love and
